SASBi|SAGS BIO2024 Conference

SASBi and SAGS proudly hosts the BIO2024 conference at Future Africa in Pretoria, South Africa, from 23 to 25 September 2024. Use this excellent opportunity to engage with peers and students in the fields of Genetics and Bioinformatics from around the world. Attendance can be either in person or online.

A WiFi password will be supplied to in-person delegates. WiFi is also available in the Future Africa accommodations.


restaurant Catering

In-person delegates will receive a packed lunch according to their dietary preferences as specified upon registration. The Gala Dinner is a plated dinner.

When booking accommodation at Future Africa, you can include breakfast as an option.

  • It is safe to travel on foot in groups of three or more.
  • Do not be distracted (e.g., by your cell phone) when traveling.
  • Always be aware of your environment and avoid unlit areas at night.

  • The Future Africa campus is protected by campus security and it is safe to park in the designated parking area.
